"In the Moment" - Stress Management Through Hypnosis and Meditation
As a certified hypnotherapist and practitioner of Dzogchen (a form of meditation which develops mindful presence) I have developed a unique, six-hour seminar to help participants integrate the calming and beneficial practice of Meditation in their daily lives.
Eating a box of donuts fills a psychological need, not a physical one.
As a fitness trainer, I have observed that clients needed more than education to overcome addictive behaviors like binge eating or smoking. Everyone who overeats or smokes is intimately aware of the damage they do to themselves, yet they continue self-destructive behaviors because the behaviors help to meet some emotional needs.
I realized that my clients needed tools to deal with impulses, and overcome ingrained thought processes to support real and lasting change! |

Meditation is the training of the mind.
I concluded that the same ability to quiet the mind and master the thinking process, which I experience in my own Meditation practice, was exactly what my clients needed to overcome their unhealthy habits.
The practice of meditation can be an important tool to help individuals reduce illness as well as improve productivity.
The Benefits of Meditation:

Many of my clients previously interested in meditation found it difficult to begin a practice, and often became discouraged after a few failed attempts.
They needed to have a profound meditation experience, then learn to integrate this calm state with real life stressful situations so that they would continue the practice. "In the Moment" does just that! |
