Smoking
Many clients have found that one or two sessions have helped them to stop smoking. Hypnosis is a powerful tool which can help you make important changes. I have found it is especially powerful if it is used as a component of a multi-faceted program which incorporates other supports.

How To Make It Work
The best way to overcome an addiction to cigarettes is to begin with a genuine resolve to stop smoking. This comes from a realization that the habit is highly destructive and, in effect, a form of suicide. Once you accept this, the question to answer is do you want to live, or is it really your intention to kill yourself?
If you want to live, then the decision to stop smoking becomes a commitment to life. It is a way to show love for yourself and those close to you, who depend on you. As a former smoker, I personally found that this understand of the habit was a powerful key to helping me stop for good. I encourage any of my clients who want to stop smoking to spend some time contemplating this.
What we choose to call ourselves is indeed who we are. Yes, even after you become a non-smoker there will be times when the craving for a cigarette will be there, but the combination of hypnosis and your resolve are the tools which will allow you to work through the craving. Each time you face an urge to smoke and successfully ride it out, your ties to the old habits are diminished. In a matter of days, the desire to smoke is noticeably reduced.
As the days and weeks pass, you find your are not coughing when you go for a walk, or ride a bike. The visible signs of being able to breathe freely are a powerful support for your new healthy lifestyle as a non-smoker.
